What Causes Tunnel Vision With Migraines And Head Pain?

I have all the normal migraine symptoms. Migraine medicine works but the problem does not go away, and is in full force the next day. Tension headache medicine has not worked at all. With that being said... Had a flutter in my left ear for 3 days after the worst headache of my life. During this headache my vision was cut to 10% like tunnel vision. Had no peripheral vision. Went to sleep immediately then eveything else below has been happening for a month. Pain in my temples, neck, and behind the eyes. Sensitive to light. Eyes jump around at times. Can feel my left eye year duct pulse without touching it at times. Seems wearing contacts makes it worse as the day goes on as does constant tv/tablet use. Optometrist saw nothing. Vision was unchanged. I recall one night I purposely tried not to blink after removing my contacts for about 15-20 seconds, maybe shorter. I felt a strain in my left eye, or a little twinge. I can not recall if this was before or after the headache, as I had forgotten about it for weeks now. Maybe this is the root of my problem, I don t know. My doctors have twice prescribed headache medicine to no avail. They mentioned a head specialist on my last visit. However as I pay attention to my symptoms over these weeks I think my eyes may be causing my pain and problems. I m sorry to type so much but with a month long head pain, I m seeking as many opinions as I can before I continue to spend more money on this issue. If you can identify my problem or point me in the right direction, head specialist or eye doctor, I would be forever greatful.

complication of constant use of contact lens can cause dry eye syndrome. so remove the contact lens. apply refresh eye tear drop 3times daily. but in your case glaucoma is to be excluded. measurement of IOT, and tracing of field is to be done. if glaucoma is diagnosed then diam ox tablet can be taken and subsiquently managed by drop like tynalol you will get relief.
