What Causes Tremors In Hands And Legs?

I am a 22 year old female and have had a slight tremor in my right thumb for about six months. Lately, I ve been noticing that my whole body will shake or when I m relaxing, I ll notice my right leg shake slightly. I ve also been dropping things lately, and I m usually a pretty coordinated person. I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfect Type IV and I don t believe that this has anything to do with it... but it s making me worried!

Hello,Thanks for your query.After going through your query I came to know that you have had a slight tremor in your right thumb for about six months. Lately, you have been noticing that your whole body will shake or when you were relaxing, you notice your right leg shake slightly. You have also been dropping things lately.I think you should checked yourself for thyroid function test such as T3,T4,TSH.It may be hyperthyroidism. However you should exclude neurological causes by visiting neurologist.You were born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type IV but I don t believe that this has anything to do with it.I do hope that you have found something helpful.If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
