What Causes Tooth Pain After A Root Canal Treatment?
Hello sir I am sushma 45 yrs and have gone through a root canal treatment for my molars in month of February 2016 but even after getting the treatment done whenever I chew any hard food items like peanuts ,samosa etc from my teeth it pains so would you please let me know what might be the problem behind the pain and it's solution please revert soon.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of tooth pain after a root canal treatment which seems to be due to leftover infection even after root canal and due to accumulation of pus below the root tips of the tooth. It could be due to high points and due to traumatic injury or nerve injury.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult an endodontist and your dentist again and get evaluated. Doctor can take X-ray of tooth and can irrigate tooth and start treatment accordingly. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory.
Do warm saline rinses and maintain hygiene of oral cavity.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
