What Causes Tissue Discharge And Pieces Of Thread From Vagina Post Hymenoplasty?

Please write your question here sir I went hymenoplasty 3 days back. Yesterday doctor observed that all stitches are on position. In night there was a little bit bleeding. In morning when I went to wash room I observed one or two small thread and there was some skin like piece. I have no much bleeding and pain. Pls tell me that can stitches be broken with out pain or every thing is OK

Following operation like hymenoplasty, discharge of tissue and thread like structures with mild bleeding can happen during the process of healing at the operated site. Hence, you need not be much worried about it right now. It should gradually subside with time.
Kindly take care of the part and medications as advised. Maintain the part under good hygiene.
However, in case the bleeding and discharge continues to be more and prolonged, you need to get examined immediately by your consulting doctor as it could happen when there is contact with infection and would require intervention.
