What Causes Tiny White Spot In The Oropharynx? Is It Related To Cancer?

Hi my name is Andrew and im 22 years old back in December while doing my daily flossing i noticed a tiny white yellowish spot in very back of my throat oropharynx region behind my uvulva. Didn't think much of it however we are in march now and its still there, ive made an appointment already to see my dentist next month. There is no pain, it don't hurt to swallow, no swelling, tonsils are fine , no bleeding when i floss or brush. So im a bit clueless and a bit worried about the possibility of cancer. Its just a tiny spot back there. Im in great health, I'm a personal trainer, don't smoke and drink only on occasion maybe three drinks max, my diet is well balanced and i get plenty of exercise as well. Any kind of insight Would be appreciated. Thank you.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

Please dont worry as it is very unlikely to be a cancer , considering your age and good habits!!
It is likely to be an enlarged follicle and is generally asymptomatic and needs no treatment. however you can gargle with warm salt water 2-3 times a day , that will help in resolution of the spot!

Thanks
