General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Otomastoiditis is a medical condition that may cause the symptoms your described (tinnitus). I will suggest you see an ENT specialist for evaluation and treatment. Long-term (chronic) otomastoiditis is treated with oral antibiotics, eardrops, and regular ear cleanings by a doctor. If these do not work, surgery may be considered to prevent further complications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mbuomboh Veranso
