Hello, I can hear a hissing sound in my head (about the past 2 weeks). I have been and still am not really well. I was due to have an Angioplasy procedure 2 weeks ago. It was cancelled whilst I was awaiting treatment in the Cardiac Unit, as I was admitted for 2 nights prior to this on 2 other different wards with aneamia. My blood count was 76, from 120 a few months prior and I had a blood transfusion. I also had an Endoscopy which showed up I had internal bleeding of the oesphagus, and it showed scarring which may have been there before. The doctor has signed me off on the sick for another month but I still feel lightheaded and now I am hearing this constant hissing in my head, rather than my ears. I am due to have another Endoscopy and a further appointment for Angioplasty is going to be made as I believe from the discharge letter I have severe lesion of the left descending artery. I am 58. I dont drink now, only once every few months when i go away. I am taking iron tablets and still have to take the anti-coagulants. I am looking after myself, sleeping ok and eating well. I have booked another appointment with my GP next week as I am still concerned my health doesnt seem to be improving and I thought I would look up the hissing in the head on line.
