What Causes Tinnitus Along With Severe Headaches?

Am have been having a high pitched ringing in my left ear for several months. It is random, but it happens at least several times a day if not more. Recently, I have been have some very severe headaches also on the left side of my head. Are the ringing and the headaches related and/or serious?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Tinnitus and Unilateral headache are commonly seen with migraine.
But better to rule out brain related problems first. So get done MRI brain.
If MRI is normal then possibility of migraine is more.
So take combination of Propranolol and flunarizine once daily at night time.
Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm .
Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
Avoid excessive sun exposure. Take sound sleep of 6-8 hours.
Avoid Fasting and take your meals timely.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
