Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For several months I have been waking up at night from a radiating, tingling sensation in both of my upper legs and midriff. The feeling wakes me up and slowly subsides when I move into a different position. I had lower back surgery 7 year years ago for a herniated disc and have some nerve damage ( numbness and pain) in the front of my left leg. This sensation however is different than what I have experienced before. I have been having some left lower back pains but the tingling only occurs at night. Could it be from my previous injury?
As you mentioned you have problem of tingling sensation in leg that may be because of nerve injury or diabitic neuropathy or vitamin b12 deficincey or other reasons.
