What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Hand After Injury?
I hit the top of my hand on the corner of a metal dishwasher at work tonight. All of a sudden a blue horizontal vein popped across my hand that I have never seen before and my whole hand feels as if it has been dipped in acid. its burning so bad and my whole hand is tingling. should i go to the emergency room?
Hi Dear xxx ! Thank you for posting your questions here . A according to what you prescribe it may be a sensory nerve damage . I suggest to go to the hospital to do a physical examination by the doctor .He will check your hand movement to rule out any motor nerve damage..Also to do a hand X -ray for any broken bones . The soon you go is better , so if there is any nerve damage , you will start the treatment to prevent any further damage. Meanwhile put some ice within 48 yours after the injury , and stable (less movement).
Wish these help . If you have any other questions please feel free to ask me.
