What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Arm?

I am a 63 year old female in very good health. In the last month I have started getting a tingling feeling in my lleft hand and up my arm which lasted for a couple of weeks and then subsided. Now it has moved to my right hand and arm. It feels like electrical shocks and it is completely new to me. In the past I have suffered from chronic migraines and I do take water pills for blood pressure. I am wondering if either are at the root of the symptoms. Thanks.

hi,

as you mentioned your history of suffering with radiating pain the upper limb. initially started with left which Got subsided on its own and now it is more on the right side. What I suspect it as to be w nerve getting trap in the neck region. Usually when the nerve gets pinched it leads to abnormal sensory feeling for the body.

well it is surely not a big thing to worry. what you need is to do some physical therapy and the things will be under control. Also perform meditation and breathing exercises along with physical therapy as will help you faster and sooner recovery.

99% of patients I have seen have recovered within the framed time . since we implemented a package of therapies to heal the body.

The nerve gets pinched in the spine is because of the muscle weakness for which you need to do physical exertion to get the strength back. Also medicine will help you for a symptomatic relief. but for a long term relief you need to get strength.

regards
