Hi doc . yesterday morning I shot meth and went all night wondering why my body tingles the way it does and I hadto go to the er. But I left sshorty after feeling ok. they say I might of hhit the nerve. Now I m home and I sstill tingle iv hadthe cchills and Iv been hot. Now I m in bed with tingling sensations

Methamphetamine affects the brain and central nervous system. Meth use can cause uncontrollable, involuntary facial and body movements such as -immediately after injecting the drug, the user feels an intense sensation. In advanced stages of use, some will believe the tingling sensation on their arms .
In contrast to cocaine, which is quickly removed from and almost completely metabolized in the body, methamphetamine has a much longer duration of action, and a larger percentage of the drug remains unchanged in the body. It takes 12 hours before even 50% of a dosage of Meth leaves the body, whereas, 50% of a Cocaine dose leaves the body within an hour. Withdrawal symptoms depend on the length of time the meth was abused and may last days, weeks, or months. Symptoms of withdrawal may include fatigue, anxiety, agitation, headaches, increased appetite, and increased wakefulness
