Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Tingling Sensation At The End Of Urination During Pregnancy?
I m exactly 8 weeks pregnant today, and of course I m dealing with frequent urination but at the end of peeing I feel a tingling sensation towards the end. I still have sex with my boyfriend, and both of us have only ever had sex with eachother. I have yet to see any kind of doctor because I barely turned 18 in March and I m on my own. There is no pain what so ever and no bleeding. Just tingling. Is this normal? Please let me know asap. Could it be a UTI? How does one contract a UTI and can it be given to others during intercourse. Please help!
Hello, I can understand your concern. Most probably you are having an urinary trct infection. I would advise a complete urine examination for you to rule out uti. Urinary tract infections are quite common in females. Drink plenty of fluids it would help. Maintain proper hygeine of the private parts. Since you are in the eighth week of pregnancy antibiotics should be advised only after looking at the risk benefit ratio. I would suggest urine examination and do gt back to us for further mnagement. Thanks for choosing HCM
