What Causes Tingling Sensation And Tightness In Back?
Particularly at night, I get a strange feeling in my back. Sometimes it feels like water dripping down my back and sometimes it is a tingling and tight feeling. I am 52 years old and work on a computer all day. I have been bothered with allergies and have had congestion with no fever. I have been taking Claritin D.
Hello ! Thank you for the question on HCM! Regarding your concern I think that your troubles are related to the wrong position of your back during work. The wrong position during sitting causes muscular contractions of the back muscles. It is during night that you feel the pain, because your body is in silence, and you are lying down. I would recommend a lot of physical activity, which can help to reinforce your back muscles, and stay in a wright position during sitting. Physiotherapy is also helpful. You can also use pain killers like acetaminophen for the tightness. Hope to have been helpful! Best wishes, Dr. Abaz Quka
