I had herniated disc fusion surgery 8 months ago & the top part hasn t fused yet ( I was around a smoker) I wear a bone stimulator now & I noticed my throat feels very tight & food get caught in it often.. Is the tightness probably coming from healing???

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hi
u have undergone a major surgery .
but ur throats tightness is not due to healing wound.
surgical wound doesnot take 8 months to heal .
even bone fractures will unite in 6 months .
so ur tightness is related to pharynx or larynx (infection)
better consult ur ENT surgeon for examination of throat
