Welcome at HCM.. .. I have gone through your query and being your doctor I completely understand your health concerns.... Is your husband is suffering from diabetes or hypertension.?? Any other co morbidity?? Is he having fever or breathing difficulty associated with it? For how long he had this problem?? Is he smoker?? Any history of trauma ?? Any previous cardiac disease or family history? In my opinion he should get his ECG and chest xray get done and meet the doctor.... So that exact cause of his pain can be marked. Differentials include either cardiac , musculoskeletal, or any lung patholgy...but again he should be seen by doctor so that proper examination can be done for management... Meanwhile he should stay calm avoid any vigorous activities. He should use Acetaminophen to relieve his symptoms.. Hope your query is adequately answered.... Regards and stay safe Dr saad Sultan
