What Causes Tightness In Chest And Cold Feet?

Hi there! My mum is complaining that she feels like her chest is tight and sometimes she finds herself having hard time to breath. She checked her bp and the result ok and the ecg showed normal reading. But she is in stress mode and her feet are cold too. What is her real problem? Thanks

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Noted you are mentioning your mom in stress.
ECG normal....so cardiac cause not present.
Most probability is stress induce panic attack...

Try to avoid stress.
Yoga and regular exercise effective antidote by endorphin release.
Try to avoid situation that put her in stress.
Behavioural therapy by psychiatrist can be given...

If still problem present then investigate for respiratory causes.....
-chest x ray
-physical examination
-spirometry.

Take care.
