What Causes Throbbing Sensation Below The Left Rib Cage?

hey i have a throbbing sensation below the left rib cage for the last two days. it is not connected with physical activity or emotional anxiety as i experience it even if i am calm and sitting. it is located near my spleen. it does not hurt in any way and it is independent of my puls. do i need to go and see a doctor for this?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you have throbbing sensation the left rib cage for 2 days .This is not related to activity. It means it is unlikely muscular .You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for it .You need to ultrasound of upper abdomen to know the cause ,for which you have to visit general surgeon.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
