What Causes Throbbing Sensation At The Entrance Of Urethra During Pregnancy?
27 weeks pregnant with a 'throbbing' sensation at entrance to urethra. may be a mild urine infection but not painful when passing water and have had many urinary infections before. am on antibiotics for a chest infection (amoxycillin) so i woudl have thought that would have also dealt with any other infection. it is very itchy! help

I can understand your concerns.
The commonest cause of abnormal sensation and itchiness in urethal region during pregnancy is infection.
Do you have any white or smelly discharge?
Sometimes pregnancy can cause dilatation of your bladder or uretha causing what is called a urethrocoele or cystocoele that can cause a throbbing sensation there.
