What Causes Throbbing Headache, Sore Throat And Fever?

A few days ago I had a bad fever and the worst headache and body aches. For the past 2 days I ve been feeling way better but still have a headrush/ throbbing headache when k stand up or bend over and also a stuffy nose and sore throat. Thought it was a bit of the flu but I ve been noticing that everything tastes a bit like rubbing alcohol and sometimes even notice a faint smell. What could be causing this?
