Hello,

You had hyperthyroidism initially for which you were first treated with medicine and, then had surgery to remove a large part of your thyroid. You still have palpitation and excessive sweating which point to increase in sympathetic nervous system activity. It can result from excess thyroid activity or panic episodes or anxiety. You should stop the Eltroxin if you are still on it, and see how your symptoms progress. If you are not better and your thyroid functions are normal, you require to be treated for anxiety and panic attacks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Noble Zachariah
