What Causes Throat Pain And Feeling Of Something Struck In Throat?

I have a strange feeling in my throat. mostly like a soar throat. when i swallow the pain is mild but not intense. sort of like something is stuck in there. it hurts when i turn my head to the left. I cant feel anything all i know is that it hurts to swallow

There are different causes for sore throat such as trauma, infection (usually viral), allergies, gastroesophageal reflux disease.

If there is no history of allergies, then it is most likely due to infection. Viral infections can also be associated with muscle aches and pains.

You may want to consider the use of an anti inflammatory pain killer to help to relieve your discomfort. Some examples are ibuprofen, cataflam , aspirin or naproxen.

Other cough and cold symptoms may also occur.
