Hi welcome to HCM... You have fever and sore thtoat... You are diagnosed as allergic inflammation... Investigate with CBC to rule out eosinophilia and AEC count ..... If AEC more than 600 than start Allegra M.... If mild eosinophilia than benadryl like decongestent helpful.... Meanwhile steam inhalation done two to three times a day with eucalyptus oil added in hot water ..... Salt water gargles done ... More water ... Avoid excess spicy food for few days ... If CBC show neutrophilia or if symptom severe take full course of levofloxacin antibiotic ..... If still no improvement than auscultation done and chest x ray needed to rule put bronchitis .... If inflammatory swelling more short term steroid can be given ... Take care .... Advise : consult physician..
