What Causes Thickened Endometrium With Irregular Periods?

Hello doctor, I am jeevitha my age is 29 i am having irregular periods my scan report shows that endometrium thickened and mixed echogenic measured 18.3mm. I am married and my son is 2 and half year old now.kindly suggest me what kind of treatment will be followed for me

hi healthcare magic user, considering your medical history it looks like that thicken endometrium could be due to hormonal imbalance.
if I would have been your doctor I would have advised you to get Dand C done.
To know what is the cause it could be Cysticglandular hyperplasia which can becorrected with oral progesterone therapy. If you have family history of breast cancer, endometrium cancer then we need to rule out endometrial cancer .
further treatment mode will depend upon histopathogy report of the Endometrium.
