Following are side effects of Minigynon: nausea, headaches, tender breasts, weight fluctuations, water retention, spotting, breakthrough bleeding, vomiting, dizziness, depression. Breakthrough bleeding is common after starting pill. spotting and other menstrual irregularities occur during the body s initial introduction to the pill. I think Brown thick discharge due to hormonal imbalance as a side effects of pill. It will goes in 2-3 months. But If discharge will change in color, fleshy appear, foul smelling, itching and with abdominal pain, It may be due to infection, most commonly, yeast/chlymadia. Maintain hygiene as below: Wear loose, cotton underwear Bathe or shower frequently Wash vagina with warm and salt water after urination to maintain hygiene Change out of sweaty or wet clothing as soon as possible Do use hygiene sprays add yogurt and other fermented foods to your diet to promote healthy bacteria Reduce the amount of sugar you eat.
