What Causes The Visibility Of Blue Veins On The Wrist An Arms?

Please inquire!

I have noticed for the past week or so that the veins in my wrist, arms, and hands are extremely prominent. I am a 30 year old female, am of healthy weight. I take omeprazole for gerd and also 50mg of sertraline daily. I am at my computer much of the day, probably 7-8 hours. I notice that my forearms also get sore and my hands get a blotchy look to them. I have pain in both wrists and even at times some of the veins bulge temporarily. They also feel tingly and that goes up to my elbow. I have even noticed veins on my face and under my chin that I have never noticed before. I called a nurse and she said that veins can do that sometimes if you're warm. I was thinking maybe it was carpal tunnel because of the pain and tingling, but would that be causing my veins to be so prominent and my hands blotchy?? The only other thing I notice is that the back of my neck hurts and feels like I might have a pinched nerve or something. I don't have insurance so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Respected Madam, apparently it is correlated with prolonged working with the computer. Your wrist angulation is of vital concern in respect to that. You have to follow simple steps before doing anything.1.Avoid prolong continuous computer work, take at lease break of 5-7 minutes at an interval of 30-40 minutes.2. Keep key board level in line to your elbow level else you are going to face many ligaments stretching and other neurological symptoms.3. Neck problem is also concerned with your angulation you are making while working on the computer, Maintain about 1-1.25 foot distance from the computer screen and level of desktop at your eye sight level or 6 inches below the same .4. thorough eye washing every 1 hour in between your work for at least 2-3 minutes 5.If possible expose yourself to greenery at least once at 3-4 hours intervals. 6. some YOGA at home with normal wrist exercises will help to much extent at longterm. and all these are going to help after 20-25 days not transiently, so relax concentrate more on the points and then if required get physician check up but I dont think you will require right now.thanks regards
