My husband is 77 years old and experiencing the following symptoms: coughing (thick white mucos), fever, loss of appetite, weakness, and very tired. He had bladder surgery in January. His bladder had scar tissure and blood clots and was almost totally blocked. Surgery was a success. In the process, they flushed his bladder with 40, 1 liter bags of solution over a period of 3 days. This is when all the congestion was building up in his lungs. The doctor prescribed lasiks to help him while he was in the hospital. Since then he has still a lot of coughing and mucos. Could he have pluerasy? He had it as a child. He does have chonic bronchitis. These past few months he has also had UTI s. Thank you!
