What Causes The Skin To Erupt Into Flea Bite Like Spots?

my granddaughter who is 24 has moved to a vacant house has come out in which looks like flea bites! we have flea bombed the house and sprayed and thoroughly cleaned, found no sign of infestation her partner nor baby of 4 weeks no sign of bites any idea of what it could be??? I thought it maybe through stress of moving, she has had a skin complaint before but it was 1 that was under the skin through the vein she had an open wound on her breast she was back and forth to her GP who stated she had contracted the disease in hospital!!! I looked at the spots not look like their bites at first I thought she had chicken pox. the spot are craters, after scratching feel their something to do with her blood!!!

Understanding your concern. As per your query your grand daughter have symptoms of skin to erupt into flea bite like spots. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like fungal infection, contact dermatitis , allergic reaction due to animal bite, or an insect sting, bacterial infection of hair follicles and lyme disease. Need not to worry. For now take benadryl twice a day , apply cold compresses and avoid any cosmetic product. Wear loose clothes. You should avoid frictional reaction of skin. I would suggest you to avoid touching or picking rash. Maintain complete hygiene. You should consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe antihistamine , corticosteroid ointment and may give adrenaline short.
