It looks like a new tongue is just growing under my tongue. I'm scared and it's painful when i move my tongue or try to chew. PLEASE HELP.

Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a skin growing under tongue that is inflamed and painful can be an inflamed Plica Fimbriata that is a normal anatomical structure and is a mucosal fold present under the tongue..
One fold or Plica Fimbriata is present on either side of mid line of tongue

It can get swollen and inflamed with trauma or burning with hot foods or chemicals or allergic reaction..
Nothing to worry as it will be resolved soon..
You can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..
Do warm saline gargles..
Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
Suck ice and gargle with cold water..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
