What Causes The Formation Of Extremely Large Stools?

I have gastroparesis and have been having EXTREMELY large stools for several years. After a particularly large stool recently, my sphincter seemed to break and I bled like crazy. It then seemed to heal after a week or so but after a couple of months, I started having blood in my stool again. I still have extremely large bowel movements and this is not letting things heal. Should I start using enemas to break-up my stools?

Please help!

I am afraid of hospitals and am mortified at the thought of being examined in that area. I have MS and am wheelchair-bound. I am a 50-year-old female. I have no pain, just a little soreness ocassionally.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Since you are wheelchair bound due to MS, it is in fact more necessary to have a a very proper examination, per-rectal examination and ano-proctoscopy to start with for a proper evaluation and diagnosis so that an appropriate management can be done.
Large motions if hared can cause fissure in ano and/or piles or hemorrhoids.
Yes, certainly you can take enema to evacuate normally.
Also take stool softeners and laxative with the adjusted dosages as needed.
Also need a Sitz bath in a tub with warm water.
Tests of blood and stool.
Further management as per the reports and clinical examination.
