What Causes The Electric Shock Feeling In The Hand?

Hi an hour ago while I was washing dishes I went to turn off the garbage disposal and got an electric shock that went into my hand up my arm into my shoulder. Not sure if I should seek medical help felt warm in face. Scared it was 120 volts. Thank you.

You need not to worry, you can take analgesic such as diclofenac if you have pain.
