General & Family Physician, Dr. P. Mahesh's Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM. As long as there is no bleeding from that tear or gaping you do not have to worry. As rightly advised by others, do not investigate that gaping. Leave it alone, if it is not causing you any physical trouble. If it is causing physical discomfort then consult an E.N.T. surgeon who has advanced instruments to explore your problem and do the needful. Wish you all the best.
