What Causes The Child To Take Time For Urination?

My granddaughter over the last week has gotten so distressed after going to the toilet to do a wee she will not get of the toilet because he thinks she is still dripping she can sit there for over half an hour crying even to the point of screaming when her Mum tries to get her off it just started out of the blue she is continually changing her undies when they are dry I wonder if it has anything to do with her Mum has been toilet training her baby sister I must say she is so conected to her I thought it might be a attention problem.

In my opinion also it seems to be an attention seeking behaviour. And the best thing to do with attention seeking behaviour is to ignore it. And give her lot of attention when she behaves positively at other times.. When ever she is on the potty seat finishing her wee just let her be there. Don't pay attention to her. Ignoring the undesired behaviour it the best way to decrease it.
