What Causes The 7 Year Old Child To Grow Taller Than Normal?

my granddaughter almost 7 years of age in October is abnormally tall. She wears size 11 year or 12 year old size. Her parents will not tell me how tall she is exactly she lives in another country. She is not overweight. In proportion with a child s tummy. I am worried she may have early puberty syndrome, where she is taller now but will stop growing if she gets early menustration

I went through your details. There is nothing to worry in that aspect. Gigantism is an abnormality on which the person grows above average and beyond convention growth. Your child is not suffering from such a problem because the she do not show the symptoms according to your description. Human being grow upto the age of around 21 and only then growth stops. Growth sprut can happen anywhere and I think your child is experiencing the growth sprut. I suggest you to convince her parents to consult a pediatrician.
