What Causes Testicular Pain After Having Meth?

What is it in meth that makes a males balls hurt? My boyfriend says he thinks it s his vein leading from his kidneys to the balls. Is there anything he can take to counteract the phenomenon? Please don t say quit using. It s not that easy and he really is wanting too after his treatment for Hep C. He is just soooo tired all the time,

Hi,

Meth can cause constriction of blood vessels. The resultant reduction in blood supply causes pain in the areas supplied by the affected vessels. When this happens in the heart or the brain, it can even cause a heart attack or a stroke. In your boyfriend's case, it appears that the testicular vessels are being affected. The only thing he can do to prevent this is to stay away from meth, but I guess that is not an option for him. I would still suggest he should quit. The tiredness you mentioned could actually be due to the withdrawal when meth levels in the body fall. It starts a vicious cycle which makes it very difficult to quit meth.
