General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concern.

Tennis elbow is an inflammation of the tendons that join the muscles of the forearm on the outside of the elbow. It is also known as lateral epicondylitis.

It usually occurs as a result of strenuous overuse of the muscles & tendons of the forearm & around the elbow joint.

People who have jobs that involve repetitive motions of the wrist and arm are more likely to develop tennis elbow like:

1. Tennis players (repeated use of the backhand stroke with poor technique)
2. Using plumbing tools
3. Painting
4. Driving screws
5. Cutting up cooking ingredients, particularly meat
6. Repetitive use of computer mouse

Hope to have answered your query.
Best regards.
