What Causes Tender Brownish Lump Outside The Rectum?

noticed a large lump on the outer portion of my rectum, slightly painful and about the size of a grape, its brownish black in colour and tender to touch, from what I can tell it may be hemorrhoids/piles, never an issue fore me before but out the blue and at this size is a bit of a HELLO

Hi , The description that you have given is of thrombosed hemorrhoids. You have to visit a surgeon for assessment and per rectal evaluation . You will be started on Lignocaine cream along with Ispagula husk . Surgical management will also be discussed .
