What Causes Temporary Partial Vision Loss In The Right Eye?

I had a weird temporary partial blindness today in my right side, seemed like more in my right eye. It was like I d started at the sun kind of peripherally. But, it was after sunset and I didn t look at any lights. It lasted about 30 minutes and then went away. No headache, kind of a dizzy feeling, kind of like after a strong drink of alcohol, but, I didn t drink anything. Kind of freaked me out. I had a good hard bike ride around sunset, but nothing out of the ordinary for my skill level. An hour later and everything is fine and back to normal. I have type II diabetes last a1c was 7.5, my blood sugars are under good control with medications. I ve had two blood clots over past 15 years which are under excellent control with warfarin. Blood pressure was 128/78 during the episode. I did drink a big glass of water and recovered thereafter so I was thinking maybe I got a bit dehydrated and didn t realize it.
