What Causes Swollen Tonsils, bad Breath And Fatigue?

First of all, I have been able to stick my tongue down my throat since I was little. I guess more specifically, up behind my uvula. I have noticed a weird shape to my tonsil. One side is more swollen but does not hurt in any way. I know it s not a tonsil stone, for I have had tonsil stones my entire life and this is more in my tonsil or the tonsil itself. I also have been experiencing extreme fatigue and terrible breath. Usually bad breath comes from tonsil stones but there are no tonsil stones that I can find with my tongue. I am worried about this shape. I have never felt such a thing. My doctors can never find my tonsils as it is because they are so small. even when I have strep throat, they can t find my tonsils. So I am skeptical about seeing my gp since he never seems to think anything is wrong only because of the simple fact he can t see them. I ve come back positive for strep when he told me I definitely didn t have it. I know my throat better than anyone and definitely know the normal anatomy. Any advice on what this could be or who I should see?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The swollen tonsil, bad breath and fatigue can be because of the peritonsillar abscess secondary to bacterial infection.
Nothing to be panic. Consult a ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxycillin and metronidazole(if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling.
I hope I have answered your query. Take care.
