Brief Answer: CHRONIC GRANULAR PHARYNGITIS..

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain and explanation of the symptoms you are suffering from chronic granular pharyngitis which is characterized by sore throat and inflammation and formation of small nodules in the back of throat..

-For the treatment if it is not getting better with a certain antibiotic group then change in the antibiotic can be effective and provide relief..
-Doing warm saline gargles will help in sootheing the throat as well as reduce pain and inflammation..
-Throat lozenges like Vicks cough drops can help..
-For pain you can take Ibuprofen which is an anti-inflammatory OTC painkiller..
-Betadine gargles will also be helpful..
-Avoid smoking, caffine, alcohol, spicy and chilled foods.
-Do not speak aloud and give rest to throat..
-Drink plenty of water and warm liquids..

Hope this information helps..
