Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding swollen red tonsil and spots on the back of tongue even after antibiotic treatment.

As per your clinical story it appears that most likely you are having chronic tonsillitis with acute pharyngitis.

Your problem is still persisting even after medical treatment this suggests that we should try to identify the infection and also the source of infection. For his you should do-

1- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab.

2- X-Ray paranasal sinuses.

3- X-Ray chest.

4- Bood- CBC, ESR, blood sugar (F & PP)

5- Throat swab for Gram's stain and Afb.

After this a thorough examination is neede to find out clinical data that should be co-related with inferences of above investigations to pinpoint the diagnosis which may be accordingly plan for treatment.

Regards.
