What Causes Swollen Nose With Smell In Mouth/nose After Having Septoplasty/turbinectomy?

I hd septoplasty and turbinectomy 2 days ago and am feeling a lot worse today than the 2 days before. My nose is feeling more tender and swollen, and I am smelling something awful in my mouth/nose. I also feel generally quite unwell. A bit worried it may be infected, how can I know?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello, thanks for your query. it requires at least 3-5weeks to get the normal mucosa after raw area of your surgery. i think your operated surgeon had already given oral antibiotics , nasal drops and pain killers. do continue. presently , you need not to be worried, continue the course of drugs prescribed, it will take care.hope i have answered your query. all the best. take care.
