ENT Specialist 's  Response
Bacterial and viral infections in throat like tonsillitis, pharyngitis commonly causes lymph node enlargement in neck.Other causes include dental caries, tuberculosis, lymphomas(rare),granulomatous conditions, immunocompromised state. As fnac is normal and clinical improvement has happened, and there is a history of throat infection ,a couse of antibiotic is advised. The focus of infection should be sought and measures to eradicate the focus also should be taken. Please consult your doctor for the same.
