What Causes Swollen Lymph Node In The Neck , Cold And Vomiting?

my 47 yo daughter is a teacher who has been impacted by illness since shortly into the school year. The school system received 3900 Guatamalan children in August as a side note. She has symptoms of cold, flue, swollen lymph nodes under arm, hoarse voice, and vomiting - three courses of antibiotics with no improvement - what specialist does she need to see - apparently she is a zebra and not a horse and is losing health and vitality to the point of inability to function. The illness escalated in the past three weeks.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The persistence of the hoarseness may be due to a post nasal drip due to allergies.
Allergies could also account for the lymph nodes, vomiting.

She may want to see an ENT specialist for assessment.

He or she would examine and may consider blood tests as well- complete blood count, allergy tests

I hope this helps
