What Causes Swollen Inner Labia?

Last night my boyfriend fingered me(pretty roughly) and when I got home my vagina felt swollen and a little uncomfortable to sit. So, I went to the bathroom and discovered my left inner libia was swollen and it stung to urinate. Do you know what could be wrong or what I could do to help it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Most probably you have had a slight trauma to the area. It might be a small wound which would just present as swelling and pain in the area. If that is the case, it will spontaneously heal over a period of 5 days to a week. You can apply antibiotic ointment to the area. Keep the area clean and you will not have any problem. If the problem persists over a week or you experience any worsening, please consult a doctor and get it examined. Good day and take care.
