Hi Sharlene..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern for your daughter..

As per your complain symptoms of fever and swollen gums are seen in toddlers when they suffer from viral infection and it is common in kids..

You can give her Tylenol for reducing fever as well as throat pain.
Make her do warm saline gargles for soothing the throat..
For swollen gums cool packs can provide relief from inflammation and swelling..
Give her a soft and cool diet and ample of rest..
For brushing teeth an ultra-soft toothbrush should be used..

As viral infection runs its course you need not to worry as she will be fine in a week..
If there seems no improvement consult a Paediatrician and get her evaluated..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
