What Causes Swollen Gland On Neck?

For the last year I have been waking up with a swollen gland in my neck on the right side. I ve had it checked. Blood normal except sugars. No fever, no cough. It lasts for a few days to a week with no other symptoms except pain. I am female, mid 40s.

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The swollen glands in the neck can be because of the infections in the head and neck area or teeth. it is nothing but an enlarged lymphnode. The other possible cause can be because of any stones in the submandibular salivary gland, that can produce swelling in the neck while having food. So consult a oral physician and get it evaluated.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
