What Causes Swollen Feet While Having Low Blood Pressure?

My mother s - 75 years old (good health except a bit of Arthritis) feet have been swollen for over 4 weeks now - she thinks it is chickungunya. I took her to the Doctor - Her pressure was very low - her pulse was very high. She did a blood test and the Doctor says that her white blood cells and platelets were low and that she needs to see a blood specialist. She does not want to go and insists on other health alternatives as she knows of other people who had the disease and have swollen feet. I am concerned - should I insist on taking her to another Doctor?

Hello...
Yes she should be taken to a specialist..
Swollen feet can be due to arthritis also..
It is good if you can take her to a doctor as less white cell count can lead to infections and low platelets lead to bleeding tendencies..
Good day..
