What Causes Swollen, Bruised And Redness In Eyelid?
Hi, my friend got elbowed in the eye yesterday while playing soccer and now his eyelid is bruised, swollen and red inside where the white is. Should he get this checked or will it go down within a few days. he says hes also seeing a bit blurry sometimes

This is because of ecchymosis as a result of collection of blood.
This will resolve by 1-2 weeks.
If there is no intraocular injury there is no need to worry.
