What Causes Swollen Ankles And Feet Post Hysterectomy?

Hello, I had a hysterectomy done four days ago. On the third day while taking a shower, I noticed my feet and ankles are really swollen. They are now uncomfortable and a little tender to the touch. I need to know if this is something to be concerned about or will it just go away on its own. Thank you in advance.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It should go on its own.

The swelling is likely the result of the surgical procedure and also may be related to the fact that you have likely not been as mobile as you normally would be.

I hope this helps
